'If it grows it can GoGo' OK there are a few things we should be aware of, while everything will grow indoors, some plants grow better than others and we want you to get the best from your GoGo so we selecte for you a herb planting that will work for you in terms of efficiency time of year and culinary gastroness

As you know your GoGo's is delivered pre-planted in baskets that drop flush into the top of the cabinet making maintenance really easy. A single takes one basket, a double takes two baskets and a triple three.

THE HERB BASKET = We select from the herbs below. This year round selection is ideal for inside or out and will be good through all four seasons.

Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) good for circulation headaches and lamb is not dressed without it.

Sage (Salvia officinalis) great for the digestion, makes a lovely jelly for pork and is said to aid the memory (the what?).

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) believed to help you to see faries if used in a drink if not just try in soups ,stews and stuffings.

Bay (Laurus nobilis) Berries are good against the bite of venomous creatures or maybe use the leaves to enhance a fish poaching stock or add to rice when cooking.

Basil (Ocimum basilicum) Apparently useful against witches and grows better if cursed when sown – but really, what can’t basil be used for ?

Mint (Mentha) Soothing, calming a good herb for drying. Try in curry or with chocolate.

Parsley (Petroselium) …Witches again, it was said that only witches could grow parsley - but for those of use not practised in the dark arts try using in soups, sauces and herb butters.

Sage (Salvia) This basket has salvia lavandulifolia or Spanish Sage which is used in mouthwashes and specialist toothpaste for its antiseptic properties. Try it finely chopped over pasta with a sprinkling of fresh Parmesan.

'They've all GoGo gone!!!'

Help we have eaten all our herbs. A simple problem with two solutions.

1/ Short Term Solution - Just go to your favorite supermarket and buy some more and plant into your GoGo. While perfectly acceptable the issue you will find is because these plants are forced reared they are not hardy, will not be happy outside unless moderate to sunny.

2/ Long Term Solution - If you want your plants to grow on, live outside and even flower then buy hardy plants from your garden center or from one of our online approved and quality validated suppliers (See Plant Friends in Contacts).
